Hey!

Originally from Pittsburg, KS (with no h), I found a love for theatrical arts extremely early on and now aim to create art that inspires self-actualization with a focus on self-love. I am an advocate for acceptance, mental health awareness, theatre arts for all and the homosexual agenda. When not performing, I love to immerse myself in a book and relax with my cat, Penelope.

I like piña coladas, getting caught in the rain, and creating poignant art.

My father, Greg Shaw, has always been my biggest inspiration. He and my mother met doing theatre and he went on to be a director and theatre educator that I had the privilege of working with my entire life. There was nothing he couldn’t do and he believed that art was for every single student no matter their color, orientation, socio-economic status, or any other roadblock that life may throw their way. He was committed to making a difference in even one kid’s life and, in doing so, he changed everyone lucky enough to

have known him.

He never once missed a performance of mine, no matter how small. He was always in the audience — my biggest fan. He always swore that he would be front and center when I “made it big”. In 2019, he was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer — glioblastoma— that took him from us in 2020. I would not be who I am without him. I carry his legacy with me and I strive to finish the work he began.

“If it falls, pick it up. If someone falls, help them up.” - Greg Shaw
